New TCAT transit trip planning tools and Real Time Apps: Plan your next Transit
trip using TCAT’s NEW trip planning tools and mobile apps! Find these tools and
apps at https://www.tcatbus.com/Apps

New TCAT signage coming to an area near you: TCAT is working hard to install
bus stop signage in the coming months to better inform riders of where they can
get on a bus. Bus stop numbers can be used to get schedule information via text
message. For more information reach out to TCAT at t...@tcatmail.com

<mailto:t...@tcatmail.com>

Schuyler Tompkins Bus Connection: You can now connect from TCAT’s route 14 and
20 to Schuyler Transit Route 6 to Watkins Glen. There is a direct route from
Cayuga Medical Center to Schuyler hospital, and connections from downtown
Ithaca and Enfield Park & Ride. Find more information, connections and route
map

Lime Bike Bikeshare coming to Ithaca in late April: Lime Bike, a private
bikeshare company, is bringing 200+ brightly-colored bikes to Ithaca for public
use. Rides cost $1 per 30 minutes or $30 for 100 rides, or if you receive
benefits like SNAP, EBT, etc the cost is $5 for 100 rides. It’s a great way to
move around town for groceries, meetings, and more. Check them out at the next
Streets Alive! on Sunday, April 29 at Cayuga and Court Streets. More
information can be found at https://www.bikewalktompkins.org/bikeshare or
contact Hector Chang at
hec...@bikewalktompkins.org<mailto:hec...@bikewalktompkins.org>.

Free Helmet Giveaways at Streets Alive! Ithaca on April 29th: Streets Alive! is
on Sunday April 29th, from 1-5 PM. Walk, bike, roll or dance along this open
street festival. Bike Walk Tompkins is offering free helmets to adults at
Thompson Park on Cayuga Street, and the Upstate Foundation is sponsoring a
helmet giveaway to kids & teenagers at the Ithaca High School near the Ithaca
Youth Bureau Bike Rodeo. For more info, go to
https://www.streetsaliveithaca.com/

Bring Ithaca Bike Champions to your next event: Bike Walk Tompkins is training
Ithaca Bike Champions to encourage your community to enjoy the fun, healthy and
cost-saving benefits that come from biking and using bikeshare more often.
Ithaca Bike Champions will be able to answer questions about biking, the Lime
Bike bikeshare system, and organizing easy bike rides. To invite an Ithaca Bike
Champion to your event between May and September (especially events in
communities that could really benefit from increased biking), contact
hec...@bikewalktompkins.org<mailto:hec...@bikewalktompkins.org>.

Ithaca Carshare Easy Access plan: Ithaca Carshare's Easy Access plan is a
subsidized version of the It's My Car monthly membership. Tompkins County
residents with incomes at or below 150% of the federal poverty level may join.
Despite recent loss of funding, Ithaca Carshare continues to offer the plan to
30 individuals at a time. http://ithacacarshare.org/rates/community Contact -
