Free Friday at Significant Elements Historic Ithaca announces that Friday, October 16 will be "Free Friday" once again, with overstocked building materials offered for free on a first-come first-served basis from 9am to 6pm at the Significant Elements architectural salvage warehouse, 212 Center Street, Ithaca, NY. Free Friday is always the third Friday of each month.
Burial Grounds of Tompkins County Class This Saturday Historic Ithaca presents "Burial Grounds of Tompkins County" Saturday, October 17, at 11:00am and repeating at 2:00pm. From family plots on the farmstead to landscaped gardens of the Victorian era, see examples of gravestone art through the centuries and learn about the resting places of famous (and infamous) locals.
