Tony--Carbon should stay in the ground. We need to develop non-carbon-based energy resources as quickly as possible. Of course the owners of the carbon are determined to promote carbon and do whatever they can to stave off the rapid development of non-carbon-based energy since their stockholders stand to make giant profits from the carbon controlled by their companies. In the mean time we continue dumping more and more carbon into the atmosphere, going more and more past the point of no return. The guys at GE don't want to hear any of this. The only saving grace, if there is one, is that it will take time and tons of capital to develop the Bakken reserves. If the recession deepens, which I think it probably will, the capital will be more difficult to come by and the new oil will be developed at a later date than projected. Have a wonderful day. Tom
