January is National Radon Action Month
To promote radon awareness and testing, Cornell Cooperative Extension of
Tompkins County will be holding a free Radon Action Event on Tuesday,
January 19th from 3:30 to 6:00pm.
The event will be held at the CCE building at 615 Willow Ave, Ithaca.
At this event, you will hear a 20-minute presentation on radon and learn
how to do a home radon test.
A FREE radon test kit will be given to the first 100 people who attend.
The presentation will be given four times (at
3:30, 4:15, 5:00 and 5:30pm). **
No registration or reservations are necessary to attend this special event.
** When the free radon test kits are gone, order forms for test kits at
the discounted price of $8.50 will be distributed.

Air, the NYS Dept of Health and the Tompkins County Health Dept.
