From summer of 2008, when we started tracking, through the end of 2009, we identified about 1180 articles. In the first three months of this year, we are up to 540. The huge increase in coverage is a very good thing, and the people on these lists can take a lot of credit for it. Just so you know, the articles are now coming so fast and furious that we have to be selective in what we include. We generally do not include opinion pieces or announcements/coverage of events. When there are multiple news stories covering the same ground, we will choose the most prominent news outlet or the story with most comprehensive coverage. If we are missing an article that you think it is important to include, you may send the link to Emily Greenlee: [email protected].
