Dear Friends--We are on the verge of starting up a new Sustainable Tompkins mailing list. There have been serious problems with the mutualaid.org server, including a recent multiple day outage. The new list will be called Sustainable_Tompkins-L and it will be hosted by the Cornell e-list server. We offer many thanks to Bert Bland, the Director of Environmental Compliance & Sustainability, for acting as the Cornell sponsor for the new list. All persons now subscribed to the mutualaid.org list will be subscribed to the new list. If you no longer wish to be a subscriber or if you wish to change your subscription options, instructions will be provided. The new list will finally allow us to send attachments and to use styled text (bold, italics, etc.) and should be a great improvement over the old list. I will send out a "welcome" e-mail when the new list is activated. This will happen some time on Wednesday, April 28. Thanks. Tom Shelley, for Sustainable Tompkins _______________________________________________
