Im an SVG novice, but it seems reasonable that one should be able transform Flash .swf files to SVG.
(I tried that UK site (forgot the link) but it basically doesn't work, and it seems kinda hacked up and unsupported anyway, so pointing in that direction doesn't help) To me, it would be reasonable that there is some sort of source code that should be available to do this. I mean, right now, there are thousands of Flash files, but only a limited number of SVG examples. This conversion issue seems like a no-brainer to expand SVG usage, and make it competetive. Is there some issue that I am not aware of yet, or is it just that nothing has been done in this realm? (Legal, or otherwise?) Comments? ------------------------ Yahoo!
