In terms of accumulated size, I have one SVG file that includes a truecolor PNG which is 4440x2640 pixels, and it works fine in ASV6/Firefox, ASV6/IE, ASV3/IE etc. It works in Batik if Java is called with a bigger memory limit. Do you see the same behaviour with a static SVG file with the same number of image references? What sort of numbers are you talking of when you say 'a few'? 5? 500? -- Chris Lilley mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Chair, W3C SVG Working Group Member, W3C Technical Architecture Group ------------------------ Yahoo!
