since i havent done SVG in a year... i forgot u can:
make a linear or gradient [alpha]mask to a pic. but i am looking for a more rectangular mask (where the all edges are masked). anyone got a good solution to that? the best thing i could think of is... there is a linear gradient (95% white to 5% black), being applied to the top, bottom, right, and left, so only the edges get masked by the gradient fading; but wasnt sure if this is possible.
