I was thinking of a regular polygon, bounded by a circle of a given size, and with a rotation to give either point up or flat up or any rotation in between. However, it was later decided that a polygon was a closed irregular polyline, so it soon changed to be the basic shape we know and love today. Jerry, there is nothing wrong with your proposal, and I can see benefits in having a shape defined by its center which would stay centered as the side length was animated. Like the frequently requested elliptical arc basic shape, its probably rather late for 1.2 though. -- Chris Lilley mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Chair, W3C SVG Working Group Member, W3C Technical Architecture Group ----- To unsubscribe send a message to: [EMAIL PROTECTED] -or- visit http://groups.yahoo.com/group/svg-developers and click "edit my membership" ---- Yahoo!
