the adventage of using a native implementation is that it integrates 
better with exsiting technologys.
in mozSVG you can not only mix XHTML+SVG but also use XSLT , XBL , CSS...

at some point in the desing process , you have to decide which size the 
image will be. which
way to choose for a solution depends on when you want to decide for the 
size.
