Whatever happens whether good or bad will be a bonus, if SVG is dropped then
so be it we can all move on, if not and SVG is implemented then we can all
be happier, what is worse now is not knowing, and its been like this for
years.

One thing that did surprise me the other day was Microsoft Visio 2003 saves
out as svg and svgz.

Weird that

i dont believe they do, i mean they could, but why do both Adobe and
macromedia send employees to the SVG WG to take part in the
standartisation process ?
isnt the situation much better for Adobe, now, there are several
implementations of SVG out there, so they dont have to invest in
developing a plug in, but can concentrate on their comercial editors?
this is far better then having to finance the support for a viewer
which no one pays for.
Ok Adobe now has the power to do what they want, but i think if they
drop SVG,
it wouldnt be the end of SVG at all.

yeah pretty uncomfortable , but i guess, they can go with their own DRM
document format, and if they need graphics, just include SVGs.
so the problem is not inherited to SVG !

Cheers
