I mean, after your message, I went back to your site and tried harder to follow the comic. Perhaps it is a bit late, and I skimmed too fast on the textual introduction, but I don't understand much of what I read so far. And if I like your ideas (showing dialogs in turn, giving hints about who is speaking), it is hard to follow: - Sometime my mouse slips and I don't have time to read the whole text. No way to read it again. - Once I clicked too fast and didn't had time to see the picture. No way to go back. Twice! No change when clicking on the underwater scene with the fuzzy reptile, so I clicked too much and skipped several frames... - Trying to understand dialogs, I would like to read them again in order. No way to read again. So, your SVG comic, unlike the paper or more traditional electronic bitmap one, is hard to follow. You should provide side controls to restart a frame, or even go back to the previous frame. > I'd like to know if my wife isn't the only person who has this problem > (because she thinks you get better performance from computers if you move > the mouse fast and shoots it straight over things with rollovers). No, and indeed your use of the possibilities of SVG is quite nice. I am not a big fan of your art (the figures), but I acknowledge that drawing with vector tools isn't so easy, so I am quite forgiving (and I have seen worse in hand-made drawings ;-) ). > Do > you find the science confusing? Well, that's a lot of digest and I don't have so much time, which is a shame giving that obviously you put a lot of work in making a coherent world. You should double-check your spelling, though...
