The example they have in in English, and it's quite impressive. It only works in IE though, because what they seem to do is include the GML file in teh SVG (mixed namespace) and then have msxml transform the GML into SVG. Haven't been able to get another GML in, though it should work.... ____________________________ Barend Köbben International Institute for Geo-information Sciences and Earth Observation (ITC) PO Box 6, 7500AA Enschede (The Netherlands) ph: +31-(0)534874253; fax: +31-(0)534874335 _____________________________

It's Italian, and I can't read it either, heh. You can use http://babelfish.altavista.com/ to translate the page, but it doesn't go into technical detail. I'm not even *entirely* sure it actually loads GML, but it is possible and probably doable. Still, unless you want to essentially create a GML viewer in SVG it's not actually all that useful. You may as well do it in your own code as it may be easier to interpret metadata (labels, legends and the like) more specifically. It depends on what exactly you want to make. --Bart ----- To unsubscribe send a message to: [EMAIL PROTECTED] -or- visit http://groups.yahoo.com/group/svg-developers and click "edit my membership" ---- Yahoo!
