Good advice...

I don't know how it is going in USA, GB or other countries, but in 
France, it is still hard to find a good job, even in the once prosperous 
computer software industry.

I am out of job since more than 2 years, and even if the job offer seems 
to improve slightly, helped by the fact I followed a Java training, I 
still don't have a firm job offer and will work in a supermarket or 
something like that at the end of the month, having no more help from 
French government...
