Have done some experiments that others interested in SVG may find interesting.

A page containing links to most of my stuff is
http://srufaculty.sru.edu/david.dailey/svg/SVGAnimations.htm.

Much of it runs only in IE with Adobe plugin, though some of the simpler things
work in Firefox and Opera. I'd be interested in comments or suggestions.

Another project I've been working on is building an SVG drawing package that
runs in the browser. It currently handles polylines, rects, ovals, bezier
curves, as well as the relocation of these through dragging. Polylines are
editable by clicking and dragging on endpoints. It has a primitive color
picker, a star-generater and smoothing (to bezier) for polylines. It's sorta
built in the MacDraw tradition. Anyhow, I'd be interested in finding folks who
might want to contribute to adding to the project as an open-source
creative-commons or GNU-license sort of thing.

Try it out at http://srufaculty.sru.edu/david.dailey/svg/polylineBest.html
(though wait 'til Monday Oct. 3rd since the file on the server got mangled
somehow.)

I built a similar thing for editing small graphs for graph theorists using VML
a couple of years ago and think I learned something in the process.
