It currently only works in IE with Adobe plugin, though I've taken a few baby-steps towards Firefox compliance. It handles creation and editing of polygons , creation of composite bezier curves, rectangles, ovals, stars, and dragging them all around. It uses context to differentiate modes (drawing, selecting, dragging, etc.) hence, departing, a bit, from convention. It doesn't do editable text, though I have a primitive tool constructed for that at http://srufaculty.sru.edu/david.dailey/svg/keys4.svg -- it handles wordwrap but doesn't handle backspace across lines of text, insertion of cursor into existing text, or scrolling. If anyone would like to add to any of this, the intent is to keep it all PD or creative commons or something. You might want to wait 'til I have a chance to make it more standards-compliant first. (Maybe by August 2006, unless somebody wants to pay me the $50,000 they get from Francis -- just kidding).
