There are several on-line & hardcopy periodicals from
Directions Magazine
(http://www.directionsmag.com/article.php?) to
GeoWorld that convey information on SVG Maps. I mainly
need to find out if someone has practical hands on
experience with production of the maps.

There is a Geog 234 lab
(http://www.carto.net/geog234/lab1/) on Basic map
Building in SVG. I'll try some exercises there.
