eSVG 2.4 released - www.eSVG.com

Introducing the latest eSVG version 2.4 -- with free eSVG Viewer!

We strive to bring you popular new features and enhancements on a regular
basis. Version 2.4 brings some exciting developments, and
here is a brief overview.

New Features

We are pleased to announce that our newest eSVG version offers a free eSVG
Viewer for the PC and selected mobile platforms. The eSVG
ActiveX/DLL component continues to implement standard watermark protection for
non-licensed devices/documents.

Additionally, eSVG 2.4 has support for asynchronous file download, including
asynchronous download of external CSS and Java Script
files, raster and SVG images, and GetURL requests.
We support an ActiveX asyncFileDownload entry and AsyncFileDownloadComplete
event for more comfortable and extensive use of
asynchronous file download.
There is a new Visual C++ application example that demonstrates how to use this
new capability.

In response to customer requests we now support several other feature
enhancements in this release:

* Real SVG images. SVG files externally referenced via image element that were
previously represented as raster images are now
represented as real SVG images; this preserves all SVG drawing/scripting
functionality.
* setDocumentData. This is a new ActiveX entry that opens an SVG document
stored in memory, as opposed to opening a file document.
* Improved download procedures. These provide better algorithms that determine
whether to download data or read it from the cache.
* All documentation has been updated, including an improved ActiveX eSVG
document with a new section that describes how to use the
eSVG DLL component in user applications.

Best Regards,
eSVG Team
