Dear All,

I am trying to map HL7 MIF XML Object models (a bit like OMG's XMI) to
the relevant diagram in SVG (i.e. a bit like rendered a UML diagram in
SVG from XMI).

I am trying to do so via XSLT & I'm basicially asking for best
practice advice.

There are a fixed set of coloured shapes (rectangles & arrows dones as
rectangles with a pointy/triangular end). These shapes are then filled
with text elements from the model.

Given I have only a limited number of such shapes & colours & I am
trying to use an XSLT transform, what is the best way to set & reuse
these shapes?

CSS?

predefined ready to go xml/svg fragments in the XSLT sheet?

TIA

Adam
