Hi Jonathon

Are you sure the differences you saw are not due to the win98 machine 
supporting fewer colours via it's video hardware? It's probably not 
uncommon for an older machine running win98 to have a graphics card that 
supports only 8 or 16-bit colour, which might explain what you are seeing.
