Does that mean that
document.getElementById('someId')
fails to find an element in an SVG document?
Could you post a URL to a document where that happens and tell us the
ID value where document.getElementById fails?
That way it might be possible to file a bug on Opera that might get
fixed before Opera 9 final is released.
