Hi Barend and others,

rest assured that the old content will be avaible in the future.

I pointed www.svgopen.org to the new server because this is the
address most people know and I as you said they need all the attention
currently.

I hope that they'll manage to serve the old content soon.

For future conferences I suggest to use the original servers again as
in the past. It is too late now for 2006 to change anything back.

If the current team doesn't manage to serve the previous content in a
week or so, i'll do it as you suggest.

Andreas

pointing to a single year's version of the conference. Why can
www.svgopen.org/index.html not point/forward to the 2006 site and the
others's (eg. www.wsvopen.org/2005 still point to the (original)
site...? This is how it was done in the previous years.

"ours" and we are not particularly want to have it running on what in
the end is a commercial server (Mercurial being a commercial frim in
the end, not a traditional .org holder...). Vice versa, the .com
address for the previous conferences is also not very logical (plus
everybody has to change their bookmarks). Why not do it the other way
around and just always have the .org/index.html redirect to the
current years site..?
