I'm using events in HTML to modify the xlink:href of an SVG <image>.
Everything works fine in Opera 9, FF 1.5
and IE/ASV (all under Windows) until I try preloading images. The thing then
breaks in Opera 9.0 Beta (though running okay in the other two environments)
Has anyone else encountered a similar problem?
TIA, David
-------------------------------------
The preload script looks like
Pix=new Array(17,11,2,78)
var received=0
function preload(){
IM=new Array(Pix.length)
for (r=0;r<Pix.length;r++) {
IM[r]=new Image()
IM[r].onload=ready // I also tried IM[r].onload=function(){ready()}
IM[r].src=url+"p"+Pix[r]+".jpg"
}
}
function ready(){
received++
alert(received)
if (received>Pix.length-1)carve(document.f.s.value)
}
The function ready() is never encountered in Opera though it fires four
times in the other browsers.
