Hi Martin,

I solved the problem. I had both adobe SVG Viewer, and Corel SVG Viewer 
installed. I just removed the Corel SVG Viewer, and now, I can see the patterns.

 and Adobe SVG viewer 3.0 and the ellipse is filled using a triangle

 So I am not sure why you get an ellipse filled with black. Which
