I'd suggest (but then I would :) ) that you look at Opera. Runs on linux, bsd, solaris, has very extensive SVG support (I believe we are ahead of FF and comparable to ASV - you can check what we support at http://www.opera.com/docs/specs/opera9/svg/ and we are in active development, so things like SVG as a background and so on are on the way), a fast JS engine, and does the dishes. OK, it doesn't do the dishes. But it does let you write widgets - you get to present the SVG with no browser chrome, if you want. And of course the SVG developers are on this list, if you have particular questions or problems. cheers Chaals -- Charles McCathieNevile, Opera Software: Standards Group hablo español - je parle français - jeg lærer norsk [EMAIL PROTECTED] Try Opera 9 now! http://opera.com ----- To unsubscribe send a message to: [EMAIL PROTECTED] -or- visit http://groups.yahoo.com/group/svg-developers and click "edit my membership" ---- Yahoo!
