I'm trying to work out how to access a foreign element in a way that ensures compliance on Firefox/ASV/Opera
If I understand this blog posting correctly - http://the- mode.blogspot.com/2006/08/who-knows-what-node-id-is.html Firefox won't let me use GetElementById on this sort of element: <xyz:fruitBats id="bat1"..../> Annoyingly, ASV is pretty easy-going and doesn't mind me doing this Any ideas - or am I better off not using foreign elements in an svg document and try and shoehorn everything into foreign attributes...? ----- To unsubscribe send a message to: [EMAIL PROTECTED] -or- visit http://groups.yahoo.com/group/svg-developers and click "edit my membership" ---- Yahoo!
