Hello, Neither Firefox 1.5 nor Firefox 3 support patterns. But Firefox 3 (Minefield) supports patterns.
You can test Minefield. Nightly binaries are available for all platforms: http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/firefox/nightly/ latest-trunk/ Opera 9 also supports patterns, so does Batik and ASV3.
