hello again
i've worked arround that problem..i'm replying to my self hehe, so
that some other beginner can read this..althought i want to know the
answer for my earlier question:)
instead of parseXML i used (just for testing)
var newRect = SVGDOC.createElementNS("http://www.w3.org/2000/svg","rect");
newRect.setAttributeNS(null,"width",10000000);
newRect.setAttributeNS(null,"height",1000000);
newRect.setAttributeNS(null,"fill",'olive');
newRect.setAttributeNS(null,"x",100);
newRect.setAttributeNS(null,"y",100);
svgTag.getElementById('rectZoomGroup').appendChild(newRect);
if some wone knows how to get "a document" to use in parseXML
when you have just access to an element of that document...HOW to get
reference on that document... i would be greatfull.
thanks
Rui Ramalho
