Hi David, The working group is currently still working on getting SVG 1.2 to recommendation. Currently, the focus is on testsuites.
As to the other questions: * yes, SVG1.2 Full will be a superset of SVG 1.2 tiny. * but, it might be a collection of modules, where an SVG 1.2 full implementation has to support the defined set of modules * examples for such modules are "SVG 1.2 filters", "vector effects", etc. I can't do any predictions on when there will be SVG 1.2 full viewers, but one of the exit criterias to getting to recommendation stage is that 2 independent implementations have to exist for each feature. This means that at the time a W3C specification can proceed to recommendation, that there are at least 2 implementations that implement a feature. This does not mean that 2 implementations implement all features. I hope this helps a little bit. Unfortunately, I cannot do any specific date predictions. Andreas > > 1.
