Hi David,

The working group is currently still working on getting SVG 1.2 to
recommendation. Currently, the focus is on testsuites.

As to the other questions:

* yes, SVG1.2 Full will be a superset of SVG 1.2 tiny.
* but, it might be a collection of modules, where an SVG 1.2 full
implementation has to support the defined set of modules
* examples for such modules are "SVG 1.2 filters", "vector effects",
etc.

I can't do any predictions on when there will be SVG 1.2 full
viewers, but one of the exit criterias to getting to recommendation
stage is that 2 independent implementations have to exist for each
feature. This means that at the time a W3C specification can proceed
to recommendation, that there are at least 2 implementations that
implement a feature. This does not mean that 2 implementations
implement all features.

I hope this helps a little bit. Unfortunately, I cannot do any
specific date predictions.

Andreas

SVGBasic, SVG 1.1, SVG Tiny and SVG1.2 Full? Am I correct in thinking
that 1.2Full is a superset of all of them, but that none of the
others completely contains any one other?
