Thanks for the response Martin. I'll try to explain more clearly. I 
enjoy playing around with SVG (as opposed to doing crossword 
puzzels or Sodoku) while waiting for this technology to become 
useful by being incorporated into propriatary software. 

One of the promises of SVG was to be able to load just one item 
into an existing layout without the page refreshing. Since Opera 
is working well with what I have now (except for that nasty filter 
bug) I thought I'd ask if anyone has accomplished this need.

I am not a programmer, nor do I hope to be. I do however enjoy 
seeing working examples and source code so I can bang my 
head against the wall and try to figure out what is going on.

So again, if anyone can point me towards an example of loading 
an image or document into a static SVG file (say with an onclick) 
It would be greatly appreciated.
