I have worked around the EOLAS alert in IE7, but cannot figure it out
for IE 6.
This is what I am doing:
a. I am using embed for SVG in HTML (I need cross scripting).
b. just before the closing </body> tag, I call a js function to use
AJAX to get the text of the embed (because it is dynamically generated
depending on window size and SESSION variables).
c. document.getElementById("EMBED_SVG").innerHTML = textResponse;
d. fixEolas(); this replaces the embed outerHTML with itself.
I do the same thing on body resize. It works fine in IE7. In IE 6
both the load and resize force an alert. IE 5.5 is not patched for
EOLAS so works too.
As far as I can tell, it SHOULD work. All the js is in external files
except the one function call at the end of the HTML body.
Any ideas?
