Doug, yup, can't understand how I missed this, still confused about actual implementation etc... for instance one of my main gripes, which I have great difficulty explaining over the years.
Olaf kindly explained in another thread that 'begin' can have a number of semicolon separated values. And that each one resets an accumulate animation for instance. However it's long been my contention that in a similar but different way events such as focus and mouseover should 'reset' the display. However the consensus seems to be that focus is unaffected by mouseover. ie when navigating peepo. This creates much visual, and cognitive confusion. regards Jonathan Chetwynd Accessibility Consultant on Media Literacy and the Internet On 19 Jan 2008, at 20:52, Doug Schepers wrote: Hi, Jonathan- ~:'' ありがとうございました。 wrote (on 1/17/08 4:52 PM): > > unfortunately SVG1.1 doesn't support keyboard events**. That's not quite accurate. SVG1.1 doesn't *specify* keyboard events, but neither does it "not support" them. It leaves it up to the User Agent (the browser) as to how they are implemented. The references to access-key in SVG1.1 (derived from SMIL) do assume some key events, but many browsers at the time had poor key event support, especially in SVG. That's improving. We're also trying to get DOM3 Key Events finalized.
