I am currently creating dynamic SVG files using jQuery and the jQuery SVG extension. These frameworks make manipulation of the DOM much easier, but are not necessary components. My dynamically generated images are not from a database, but rather from Javascript functions as I'm creating mathematical modules. In principle, however, it could work the same way if I stored points in a database and called it, but that's gratuitous for my purposes. I have not yet gotten it to work in IE, but that's another matter. Don't know too much about Spring. What specifically do you want to know?
