These seem to be great news! :-)

I took the liberty of filing a feature request into Renesis [1]. I
take the opportunity to invite the community to file similar feature
requests into other existing implementations which contain ActiveX
support. ;-)

One might take a look at this (maybe myself, when I find the time!) in
order to find out if this can be made for ASV, that is, if tweaking
the proper registry setting(s) adds this «feature» to Adobe SVG Viewer
family of plug-ins in terms of HTML+SVG integration within Internet
Explorer 8 beta1.

If one could point out a reduced test case for this feature, maybe
attaching it to the reported issue as well, it would be great!
