excellent news indeed!

the great trick is to work to web standards, and check on recent  
builds, and depending on requirements older builds.
this way it's easy to file bugs, one understands issues better, and  
knows which platforms and why.

unfortunately bug fixes in my experience are rare and take years in  
most cases.
Having said which I had the extraordinary experience of 3 mail  
applications all supporting SVG in a matter of weeks...
if you are using mail.app this signature displays an icon of the  
current weather in London.
