Hi Kristien, It could be due to the Activex problem of MS. Try the following: In IE open Tools and choose: Internet Options, Advanced, Security. If "Allow active content to run on My Computer" is marked, click to remove the mark, choose: Apply, OK, and restart IE. If I am right you'll be able to open the external file, but that way you won't be able to see svg files locally. You can always reverse the configuration. Cheers, Samy
