I have a similar question: if a glyph is not found in "myfont", its missing-glyph is used. So, will "otherfont" glyphs be used at all? Or, perhaps, otherfont glyphs will be used if-and-only-if I do not declare a missing-glyph for "myfont" and the text has glyphs that "myfont" does not provide? I am a bit unsure about this part of the spec. I think that pango/cairo has its own behaviour for glyph selection within a set of fonts, but I'd like to be sure that the libs behaviour is conformant to the SVG spec. Otherwise, I'll have to fix it in the application side.
