It is looking as though this is actually a bug in Batik and not an issue with the SVG itself. It displays fine in ASV and Opera so I have posted in the Batik list.
John From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of John C. Turnbull Sent: Wednesday, 21 January 2009 12:00 To: [email protected] Subject: [svg-developers] Path stroke not exactly following path If I define a path that includes curves, why is it that when I specify a stroke as a different colour from the fill that the stroke colour's rendering shape does not exactly match that of the path itself? It seems that the stroking follows a path of lines only and therefore the effect is to cut through corners defined by curves. Is it possible to get the stroke to follow the curves as well?
