I'm developing statistical maps with svg. I communicate between svg and html. map using the svg and legends using html. I use jquery 1.2.6 and I use the parent object to communicate the svg and html. can work in some browsers except IE. Though I already use mozie but still does not work in IE. The error message that appears is the object does not support functions that we use. Are there other ways to communicate the svg and html other than the way I use?
