Hi, If you just want to convert an SVG to png or jpg, the best way is probably as follows:
Open SVG in browser of your choice. If you like, you can use pan and zoom, run the animation to the desired point or set interactive features. Press Alt + PrtScr. Open a new file in the bitmap graphics program of your choice and paste in the screenshot (just press Ctrl+v). Edit the file in the bitmap program if you like. Save in the desired format. This has some advantages, it will show how a particular browser desplays the SVG, it's very flexible in allowing things like panning and zooming and editing the bitmap. If you have a web application that produces SVG's programically and you want to convert them to a bitmapped format for your users, well I don't know, I'v never tried this.
