I'm not sure, waht you mean... A SVG, you can think as a virtual screen. Everything within the bounds of the screen is visible. Every element you can place on this screen, it's like position:absolute in CSS. There is no (automatic) text-wrapping, but you can use a html within the svg with foreignObject.
