The SVG WG microblog feed at http://www.w3.org/Graphics/SVG/ alerted me to this wonderful collection of material by Marek Raida:
http://svg.kvalitne.cz/index2.htm . Much of it uses svg <animate> so bring along a proper browser for such. I had seen some of his work before, but this collection brings it nicely together in one place. Look, in particular, at his "Three Circle Demos: Ying-Yang, Hypnotize and Radiation Sign." He also has some nice work on browser benchmarks that is worth studying.
