Google Labs recently posted Swiffy (http://swiffy.googlelabs.com/), which uploads a Flash SWF <=8 file and converts it to HTML5. It doesn't directly convert to recognizable SVG, but to a JSONish object that gets processed by a Google library function at http://www.gstatic.com/swiffy/v1/runtime.js. If you look at the runtime.js library, it has numerous www.w3.org/2000/svg references.
Unfortunately it's pretty obscure. I was hoping for a fairly straightforward conversion to SVG xml. I do hope it's a sign that SVG is getting some traction as an alternative to Flash. ------------------------------------ ----- To unsubscribe send a message to: [email protected] -or- visit http://groups.yahoo.com/group/svg-developers and click "edit my membership" ----Yahoo!
