Hi all, Some of you may find the belowprogram of interest. You draw by specifying coordinates and the output is saved as SVG.

What's new in this version? This version contains three major upgrades plus a number of minor upgrades. Flipped output file I have added the capability to write output files with the origin at the lower-left corner of the drawing, positive Y going up the page, and positive X going to the right (with some limitations). A new menu item, Ctrl+F, has been added to the File menu to support this feature. See the details in the Save Flipped section of the attached file. More streamlined process for saving files I added a Save As... action on the File menu and streamlined the process for saving output files. See more information in Save As... in the attached file. The File menu also contains new Save Normal and Save Flipped actions in support of the new Save As... action. Fixed the double extension problem Without getting into the details, earlier versions made it easy to inadvertently create output files with double .svg extensions. While not a technical issue, this could cause some confusion when trying to find the most current output file. That problem has been fixed. With this fix, the output file will always have a single .svg extension whether you specify it or not when you enter the file name. Suggestions for improved usability and accessibility I have recently received numerous suggestions for improved usability and accessibility, and many of those suggestions are not implemented in this version. I'm not ignoring those suggestions. Instead, I have prioritized the suggestions and have been working on issues in order of priority. I will be incorporating more of those suggestions in future versions. Perform the following two steps to run the program 1. Extract all of the material from the zip file into an empty folder being careful to preserve the directory tree structure. 2. Execute the file named RunSVGDraw01.bat. It is not necessary for you to have Java or any other special software installed on your computer to run the program. In fact, you should be able to extract the contents of the zip file onto a USB flash drive and run the program on any Windows system, Version XP or later, with 32-bit or 64-bit hardware. Of course, you don't have to use a USB flash drive, I mention that simply to emphasize the flexibility that you have with this program. When the program starts, you will land on Home Base from which you can select any of the actions provided by the menus. Instructions for opening the Instructions document are printed on Home Base. Alternatively, you can simply open the file named Instructions.htm in your browser and read the instructions without running the program. A copy of those instructions is attached to this message.
