I believe the fellow who set up the Google code project neglected to provide a link to the basic explanations (sorry about that): http://srufaculty.sru.edu/david.dailey/svg/SVGOpen2010/replicate.htm is where most of our examples reside http://svgopen.org/2010/papers/46-A_proposal_for_adding_declarative_drawing_ to_SVG/index.html is the paper that discusses the basic ideas, and the basic code.
