Another question while on the topic of feComponentTransfer - type=identity
Wouldn't
<filter id="F">
<feComponentTransfer>
<feFuncR type="table" tableValues="1 0 0"/>
<feFuncB type="identity"/>
<feFuncG type="linear" slope=".5" intercept=".5"/>
<feFuncA type="table" tableValues=".75"/>
</feComponentTransfer>
</filter>
Be equivalent to
<filter id="F">
<feComponentTransfer>
<feFuncR type="table" tableValues="1 0 0"/>
<feFuncG type="linear" slope=".5" intercept=".5"/>
<feFuncA type="table" tableValues=".75"/>
</feComponentTransfer>
</filter>
Namely, putting in <feFuncB type="identity"/>
does nothing to the channel, just as excluding a channel in the filter
leaves the channel untouched.
Am I missing something here, or could we ignore that particular part of the
spec?
cheers
David
