Well I can't tell by a quick glance at your demos, but maybe go in depth into what tags you're trying to use and we can come up with a bug report to submit. I only use basic aspects of SMIL like <animate> <animateTransform> <animateMotion> and a few others, but all of those work fine in Chrome.
