Robert: Thanks for looking at this closely enough to find the answers. I hope 
they will be helpful to other programmers on this list.

I've now removed the inconsistencies between my website and score generating 
software. 'www.' addresses are no longer used anywhere that has to do with 
fonts and font style sheets.

Not sure what the javascript hack is, but using a hack is probably asking for 
trouble later. I'd rather get things clean and tidy.

Has someone written a script which diagnoses problems like this on a website, 
and suggests solutions? That would save a lot of people a lot of time -- 
especially where the browser is as strict as Firefox. Most of us would rather 
get on with programming our applications than spend hours diagnosing font 
problems.
