Just as a side note, my firewall panicked repeatedly due to a page fault 
(useless dumps with corrupted stack captured). My main server had a soft 
hang which could be interrupted at the console (also had corrupted stack 
trace) while my testbed machine booted but was dead to the world with no 
interfaces available.
